First Kid's is the children's ministry at First Baptist Church Dublin. We believe that children are a gift from the Lord (Ps 127:3). It is one of the main duties of Christians to raise their children in the fear and instruction of the Lord (Eph 6:4). Jesus himself had a particular care for the children he interacted with as a model of Christian faith and posture towards God (Matt 19:14).
It is our goal to offer a age-appropriate, biblically-grounded ministry to every child who participates in our children's ministry in a safe learning environment. While we strive to have a top-notch children's ministry for the families of First Baptist Church Dublin, we take seriously our responsibility to entrust the truths of God's word to the next generation. We see success as witnessing our children one day become adults who are regenerate believers and active members of local Gospel-preaching churches.
We offer Nursery for newborns to three-years old during our Sunday morning and evening services, Sunday School hour as well as during our Wednesday night events. We also offer a nursing room for young mothers as well as a Sunday school program for ages two to three using the Gospel Project curriculum. These ministries can be found on the first floor of the education building.
Our children's ministry program focuses on Sunday morning ministries with special events throughout the week.
We offer Sunday School classes at 9:45 teaching through the Gospel Project. The Gospel Project aligns with our mission to teach children what it means to be a follower of Jesus through showing how all of the Bible is centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ. These classrooms can be found on the second floor of our education building in the children's ministry wing.
We also offer a Kid's Worship time, in which the kids sing theologically rich songs, learn the New City Catechism, and listen to lessons from the Gospel Project. We also have fun playing games, watching skits and puppet shows. We meet in the Kid's Worship room which can be found on the second floor of our education building in the children's ministry wing.
All of our volunteer team is thoroughly screened with a background check for the safety of our children.
